As well as the 2 goals, the Croatian keeper Dominik Livakovic was possibly their man of the match, with a string of saves that prevented a bit of a cricket score.
The final 4-2 scoreline was thoroughly deserved and immediately placed England at the top of Group L. Harry Kane's brace also earned him Player of the Match honours after another outstanding performance from the England captain.
