There are some changes coming to the ZYN nicotine pouch range this November, with two familiar products leaving and their replacements arriving shortly afterwards.
ZYN has confirmed that Apple Mint 3mg and Apple Mint 6mg will be discontinued at the beginning of November. If Apple Mint is one of your regular choices, this means there is only a limited amount of time left to pick it up from Snus Vikings before remaining stock is gone.
The good news for apple fans is that ZYN isn't abandoning the flavour. ZYN Sour Apple 3mg and 6mg are coming in early November, providing direct replacements for the outgoing Apple Mint products.
Goodbye ZYN Apple Mint
ZYN Apple Mint combines apple with a cooling mint character and is currently available in 3mg and 6mg strengths.
Both versions are being de-listed by ZYN at the start of November, so once our remaining stock has sold, we won't be able to replenish them.
If you're an Apple Mint fan, therefore, now is the time to pick up your usual strength while it is still available. As with any discontinued product, availability will depend on remaining stock and one strength could sell out before the other.
However, you won't have to wait too long for its replacement.
Coming Soon: ZYN Sour Apple 3mg and 6mg
In early November, ZYN will introduce Sour Apple, a new flavour arriving in the same 3mg and 6mg strengths as Apple Mint.
Sour Apple will be the direct replacement for Apple Mint within the ZYN range, giving customers who enjoy apple-flavoured nicotine pouches a new option.
Rather than simply replacing Apple Mint with another mint-and-apple combination, Sour Apple marks a change in flavour direction. As the name suggests, the emphasis moves towards a sour apple profile rather than the cooling apple-and-mint combination of the outgoing products.
We'll have more information about the new Sour Apple pouches as their launch approaches.
What to Try While You're Waiting
There is expected to be a short gap between Apple Mint being discontinued and Sour Apple becoming available, so what should regular Apple Mint customers try in the meantime?
ZYN has suggested Watermelon Mint as an alternative worth considering.
It isn't intended to replicate Apple Mint, watermelon obviously being a very different taste, but it retains the combination of fruit and mint that may appeal to customers who enjoy that aspect of Apple Mint.
Alternatively, the gap provides an opportunity to explore some of the other flavours currently available across the wider ZYN range before Sour Apple arrives.
Apple Mint Out, Sour Apple In
The important dates are straightforward: Apple Mint 3mg and 6mg are leaving the ZYN range at the beginning of November, with Sour Apple 3mg and 6mg expected to arrive in early November as their direct replacements.
There may be a brief period when neither is available, depending on exactly when remaining Apple Mint stock sells through and the new Sour Apple products arrive.
If Apple Mint is your regular pouch, you may therefore want to pick up some of the remaining stock before it disappears.
If it's specifically the apple flavour you enjoy, you won't have too long to wait before there's something new to try.
Last Chance for Apple Mint
For now, ZYN Apple Mint 3mg and 6mg remain available, but they won't be around for much longer. Both are due to leave the range at the beginning of November and, once our remaining stock has gone, that's it.
Love Apple Mint? Pick it up while you still can. Love apple flavours? ZYN Sour Apple is coming soon.
In the short gap between the two, give ZYN Watermelon Mint a try or explore the rest of the ZYN range, and keep an eye on the Snus Vikings News section for the arrival of ZYN Sour Apple 3mg and 6mg in early November.
